APT (Apt Publishing Tool)

Fragnetics worked with Blue Rain Studios to design the APT system for the Anglo-Chinese Junior College Literature department Intranet website. APT is a customized content management system, specially catered to users without web design skills to publish web pages based on pre-designed templates. APT combines an initial web design with a subscription-based service to provide users with usability features specific to customer requirements. Please contact us to arrange for a demonstration.

Tsunamii.Net Alpha 3.8 Translocation

Our second project with Tsunamii.Net, Fragnetics developed a dedicated trace program to track visitors and map and record the structure of the internet. Visitors were allowed to submit individual traces and observe other traces from around the world. At the end of the project, a statistical record of the traces and visitors will be generated to demonstrate that the internet is a textured space complete with bumps and traps, rather than a smooth borderless economy.

Half-Life/Counter-Strike Map : Anglo-Chinese Junior College - de_college

Our Year 2000 pioneer project, the Half-Life/Counter-Strike map of Anglo-Chinese Junior College was primed at accurately modelling the 23-year-old college, which was under heavy renovation. Transforming the area into a playable Counter-Strike map that was true to the architecture of the college, this map is probably a first in Counter-Strike mapping of a real area. Over the course of 6 months of beta-testing and development, this original Half-Life map was ported to Counter-Strike as de_acjc and eventually to de_college as it is popularly known as.

Computer Playtime 1997 : Virtual Community 2050 : Subterranean City

Being the first project for Fragnetics in late 1997, our job was to design a web-based 3D environment of how we envisioned Singapore would look like in the year 2050. Utilising Superscape's VRT software, our team created a fantastic environment designed to be run primarily on a Pentium 200 system running on an early version of Internet Explorer and Netscape. This project won the Champions Trophy as well as the Most Creative Award in the Computer Playtime 1997 Competition organized by Temasek Polytechnic.
