  1. Will there be any further development of the map and related content?

We will not be participating in further development of the map. However, interested parties who wish to develop the map further can contact us - We will consider furnishing you with the full source, textures, and models (which were not included in the final release). You can mail us at The Team if you have any queries with regards to this. We will not be porting the Half-Life models from our Preview Releases for use with Counterstrike, but we will provide the source files to people interested in doing it on their own.

  2. Will there be development of Counterstrike bot waypoint files for de_college?

Due to time constraints our team does not undertake creation of waypoint files of various Counterstrike bots for use with our map. However, our supporters have been kind enough to develop they own waypoint files for the map - Gamers such as Starfire and Oob have their RealBot and NNBot waypoint files up for download over at our download page. We welcome all contributions from everyone, so if someone has already made a waypoint file for de_college that person can drop us the file at The Team. We will give credit to the people who contribute waypoint files.

  3. I'm not getting very good framerates with my game. Why is this so?

We recommend that players who game on this map have an Athlon or Pentium III CPU installed for optimal performance, and a 16MB OpenGL-compliant video card for smoother gameplay. Half-Life by nature is not a very demanding game, but since this map was made to resemble our college very closely we could only trade off that much detail for gameplay. There should be no issues running the map on newer computers today. A GeForce2 MX on a 1GHz system is more than sufficient to cope with the map these days.

  4. Do you guys plan to do a mod or map the Sports Complex?

We do not have any current plans for a mod and have no intention of mapping the Sports Complex.

  5. Will there be any future projects that gamers can expect from Fragnetics?

We are no longer participating actively in Counterstrike mapping. However, since the time we released the map and today (late 2002), we have dabbled in various fields. You can find game server, web hosting, and other project details on our main website at http://www.fragnetics.com.

  6. Can you help me in mapping?

Due to our time constraints we do not have the resources to offer aid to everybody that may need help in mapping. A good place to look for help with regards to this would be at http://halflife.gamedesign.net/.
