Other SolutionsWhat really defines Fragnetics is our involvement in a wide variety of projects that puts our skills to the test under vastly different situations. From gaming to web design, digital video processing to software development, our versatility ensures that we apply the best techniques from a range of fields to any project. Approach our team to find out more. Web DesignAs part of the core team involved in the maintenance of the Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) website from 1997-1998 and the Anglo-Chinese Junior College website from 1999-2000, we understand the foundation required for good website design. Our team has participated in a host of web design competitions, winning the Computer Playtime 1997 competition organized by Temasek Polytechnic which involved creating a 3D-world using SuperScape and delivering it through a web browser. Our partnership with Blue Rain Studios has also enabled us to take on a variety of web design projects. These include the Alpha Tiles website of Yi-Lai Berhad, a tile manufacturer listed on the KLSE, and intranet websites of the ACJC GP and Literature departments. Our team also deployed a web-based interface for automated publishing known as APT on the intranet department websites. Custom Software DevelopmentBeing involved in Tsunamii.Net's Alpha series of projects which involved the interaction of physical space and cyber space, our team was required to design and develop the technical implementation for Alpha 3.5 Crush and Alpha 3.8 Translocation, commissioned by the Millbank Gallery in UK and the Walker Arts Center in US respectively. The requirements for each individual project required our team to understand the underlying network infrastructure of the Internet and design systems and applications that would help Tsunamii.Net exhibit immersive works that allow people from non-technical backgrounds to appreciate the interactions of the Internet and the physical world. Previously, Fragnetics has also developed a LAN management system for Accelinc, a network information centre for LAN gaming and software courses. In addition, Fragnetics has written UML documentation for custom applications, worked on training material for government agencies, developed modifications of open source software, and even designed a Counterstrike map of ACJC which was featured by local newspaper Lianhe Zaobao. Digital Video ProcessingAs digital video enthusiasts we have experience in audio dubbing, colour correction and encoding digital video to VCD. We have worked with Rolton Productions and as a hobby we work through ZeroVerge Studios to produce anime music videos by combining anime footage with music soundtracks. A film that one of our team co-produced was a finalist at the Starlight Cinema - Evian Short Film Festival in 2003. |
